and these faces, they're all the same
blind looking, zero listening, and i'm to blame?
nothing ever matters cause what matters has been shattered
i could jump out the window, step in front of the subway, i could take a bullet for personal gain

lifeless and homeless and left alone
like a rotting carcass left in a hole
the same old premise, i never had control
that changes tonight, so i finally write the last chapter to my life

i was in shackles before i even got out
